He had been living in or associated with Las Vegas, Nevada. On November 14, 2019, he took a shuttle from St. George to Las Vegas. The following day, November 15, 2019, his cell phone was pinged in Las Vegas before going silent.
Prior to this, he had told his ex-wife he planned to go to Tijuana, and he had spoken in the past of returning to his native El Salvador to die while dealing with significant health issues. He was described as 5 foot 11 inches tall, 180 to 200 pounds, with graying hair and green eyes. St. George police classified him as endangered and sought public tips. As of the most recent public updates, no further confirmed activity or location has been established, and authorities have noted the possibility he left the country.
