Case Details:David Allen Bonness has been a fugitive since 2013, wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service and Pennington County, South Dakota, for multiple counts of child rape and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Bonness, a South Dakota native born in February 1968, allegedly began sexually assaulting his teenage stepdaughter when she was 12 years old. Following a complaint in December 2008, Bonness was questioned by police and submitted a DNA sample before abruptly ending the interview. He was later charged with numerous counts of second-, third-, and fourth-degree rape, and his flight prompted a federal warrant for his arrest.
