Case Details:Kael Johnson, a 36-year-old Black male, was last seen in Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 15, 2013. Mr. Johnson had recently moved from North Carolina to Las Vegas to pursue dental school. On February 14, he texted his mother to celebrate his straight - A grades on his finals. The following day, February 15, at 11:00 pm, he told his roommate that he planned to go out and celebrate. He was then captured on surveillance video at around 2:00 am at a 7- eleven near Tropicana Avenue and Boulder Highway. Johnson stands 6 foot 1 inches tall and weighed approximately 240 pounds at the time, he had black hair and brown eyes. He was a smoker and has distinctive tattoos: a Chinese symbol on his lower abdomen and an astrological sign on his left leg. He was dressed in a dark shirt, dark pants and red- and - white sneakers and made an ATM withdrawal and small purchases before leaving the store in his silver 2004 Dodge Ram pickup truck with North Carolina license plates. His truck was later recovered on February 28, 2013, abandoned at Wetlands Park Nature Preserve with his wallet and cell phone inside the vehicle, but he was nowhere to be found. He never enrolled for the next semester of dental school and has not had contact with family or friends since his disappearance. His case is classified as an endangered missing person. He may use the aliases Meekaa’eel Ky Collins, Meekaael Collins, Meekarell Collins, Ky Collins, and Meekeaeel Collins.
