Jose Antonio Barroso (also known as Juan Antonio Barroso, Jose A. Barroso, and Jose A. Barroso Martinez), born January 10, 1973, in Mexico, is wanted for his alleged involvement in a series of rapes of a young girl in Fort Smith, Arkansas. In May 2022, Mexican officials with the State Citizen Security Force publicly announced an arrest in Ensenada, Baja California, believed at the time to be Barroso; the FBI subsequently clarified that the man detained was not Barroso, and he remains at large.
