Robert Lue Verne Odman Sr., 53, disappeared from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in September 1995 after an altercation with his two sons. Following the argument, Odman got into his silver Ford Bronco and drove away from the residence; he did not return, and family members lost contact with him. On January 6, 1996, Odman resurfaced approximately 700 miles away in Walsenburg, Colorado, when he walked into the Walsenburg Police Department and asked officers for directions to a homeless shelter. He has not been seen or heard from by anyone able to confirm his identity since leaving the police station that day. At the time of his disappearance, Odman was reportedly despondent over the recent death of his daughter. He is described as a white male, 6'2"–6'3", 175–190 pounds, with sandy brown hair and blue eyes. He is blind in his left eye, has a tattoo of a knife and skull on his forearm, and has a scar on his abdomen from a prior spleen surgery. No clothing description has been published for either the September 1995 departure or the January 1996 Walsenburg sighting.
