Robert Wayne Turner, 47, was last seen in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 2, 1999. He dropped off a set of tools at his brother's house and told him he was heading to Death Valley, California to meet some people, and that he had a job lined up in San Francisco, California for which he would need the tools. He never returned to retrieve them and has not been heard from since. Turner did not have a vehicle registered to him or available to him at the time of his disappearance.
He was reported missing on April 13, 2000 ~nine months after he was last seen, when his brother became increasingly more concerned. Very little additional information is publicly available about his case, and no arrests or public updates have been reported. Turner is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 to 11 inches tall, 160–165 pounds, with graying brown hair (balding on top), hazel eyes, very crooked teeth, spider-bite scars on each wrist, and a one-inch hairless birthmark just above his left ear.
