Bryan Vladek Hasel, a white male and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, was last seen by his family on November 5, 2021, at a residence in the area of Alafaya Trail and MacKay Boulevard in Orlando, Florida. His father left that morning for a planned trip out of state. The following day, November 6, 2021, surveillance and body-worn camera footage placed Hasel at Foxtail Coffee Co. on University Boulevard, where he was issued a trespass warning following an earlier incident and was then seen walking west toward a nearby Wawa convenience store. He was seen wearing a gray shirt, black hooded sweatshirt, khaki shorts, black socks, and red slide sandals.
An unconfirmed sighting placed him at his apartment complex, The Place at Alafaya, later that month; reports vary on the exact date of this sighting. His father returned home on November 15, 2021, to find the apartment undisturbed and a package still on the porch, and Hasel was reported missing shortly after. He had no vehicle access at the time, his father's car was in for repairs, and left behind a flip phone; he did not own a smartphone.
Hasel's disappearance is classified as an endangered missing person case. No evidence of foul play has been confirmed, and no suspect has been publicly identified. A red slide sandal believed to belong to Hasel was recovered near his apartment complex on November 19, 2021; DNA testing of the sandal was inconclusive.
