Missing or Unidentified Person

On July 10, 2007 a partial human skull was located in the James River in Buchannan, Virginia, Botetourt County. Extensive searches of the area did not result in locating anymore human remains. Forensic anthropological analysis determined the skull is an adult and likely male. The estimated age range is 35-90 years old ( broad age range is based on the limited remains located), and unknown race, ethnicity, height, weight, hair or eye color. There was no clothing or identification found on or near the remains.
