Diana Lee Leone, also known as Diana L. Miller and Diana Morgan, was 35 years old when she was last seen at her residence in the 3200 block of West Teco Avenue in Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 14, 2000, following a domestic dispute with her longtime partner, David Dale Morgan. Leone is described as a white female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 120 pounds, with blonde hair and hazel eyes; she has a scar on her left cheek, scarring on her left hand, pierced ears, and previously suffered fractures to her left arm, right facial bones, and right leg from earlier domestic violence incidents. She was last known to be wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a watch on her right wrist. She left behind her car, money, and clothing, and has not been heard from since.
Leone was not reported missing until October 2000, eight months after she disappeared, when a family member contacted authorities; Morgan told others she had left Las Vegas with another man. A November 2000 search of the couple's home turned up evidence investigators said indicated her disappearance was not voluntary. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has long considered Morgan, who was also linked to the earlier unsolved disappearances of his second wife and two business associates, the prime suspect in Leone's case, though he was never charged in connection with her disappearance specifically. He was charged in 2007 with the 1979 murder of one of those associates based on a witness account, but the charge was dismissed in 2012 after the witness died before trial. Morgan died on November 11, 2018, at age 87.
