Missing or Unidentified Person
Camille Dorothy Dotson (born Camille Dorothy Dardanes) was a 30-year-old white female missing from Las Vegas, Nevada, since September 3, 1994. She stood 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighed between 130 and 145 pounds, and had brown hair and brown eyes, with a tattoo on her right hip depicting a heart containing the name "Cruz." She was not known to operate or have access to a vehicle. Dotson was arrested and booked on September 2, 1994, and was released from custody the following day, September 3, at approximately 4:20 p.m.; she was last seen on foot in the 300 block of South Casino Center Boulevard in downtown Las Vegas. At the time she was residing at an apartment complex in the 2100 block of Paradise Road. She failed to appear for a scheduled court date later that month and has had no confirmed contact with family since her release. No description of her clothing at the time of disappearance has been documented.
A missing person report was filed by her mother in the spring of 1995 and refiled in 2003 after the earlier report lapsed. The case has remained open for more than three decades and is classified by NamUs as an endangered missing person case; no suspect has been publicly named and no arrests have been made. A DNA sample has been submitted by a family member for comparison purposes, and medical and dental records are not documented in the public case file. Anyone with information is encouraged to submit a tip through the National Center for Open and Unsolved Cases at openunsolved.org, referencing Agency Case # 030319-1134.
